Looking Beyond the Purple LEAF 92KS Louvered Pergola 11.5'? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

Key differences for your choice

Aoxun 9' x 12' Motorized Louvered Pergola

The Aoxun 9' x 12' Motorized Louvered Pergola offers a significantly smaller footprint than the Purple LEAF, measuring 105 inches wide and 144 inches long. This compact size suits smaller patios where the large 137-inch width of the original is unnecessary. It shares the aluminum construction and gray color, but it is lighter at 365 pounds compared to the 532-pound Purple LEAF. Both models include integrated LED lighting. However, the Aoxun focuses on motorized operation in a tighter space. You should pick this if you need a manageable unit for a modest patio area without sacrificing automated louver control or built-in illumination.

Aoxun 9x12 Motorized Louvered Pergola with LED Lights

This Aoxun 9x12 Motorized Louvered Pergola matches the first alternative in dimensions and weight, providing a 105-inch by 144-inch coverage area. It is an ideal choice for compact outdoor spaces where the expansive 11.5' x 23.5' area of the Purple LEAF would overwhelm the patio. Like the original, it features a louvered roof and included LED lights. The primary difference is the reduced scale. It delivers similar motorized functionality in a lighter 365-pound frame. If you do not require the large coverage or the specific hidden gutter system of the Purple LEAF, this smaller, motorized option provides efficient shade and lighting for tighter residential settings.

Aoxun 12x20 Louvered Pergola with Netting

The Aoxun 12x20 Louvered Pergola with Netting provides a 140-inch by 227-inch footprint, which is narrower but slightly shorter in length than the Purple LEAF. It weighs 574 pounds, making it heavier and more substantial than the 532-pound original. This model distinguishes itself by including privacy netting and curtains, accessories the Purple LEAF does not list. It lacks the integrated solar LED lighting found in the original. You should choose this alternative if privacy is your priority over ambient lighting. The added weight suggests robust construction, but you trade the convenient solar-powered light strip for comprehensive side coverage and seclusion.

SAILARY 12' x 20' Louvered Pergola with Curtains

The SAILARY 12' x 20' Louvered Pergola with Curtains offers a 240-inch by 144-inch footprint. This orientation differs from the Purple LEAF, providing a wider but shallower coverage area. It includes privacy curtains, a feature absent from the original model. This hardtop pergola is designed for manual shade adjustment, meaning you give up the motorized or remote-controlled louver operation found in many competitors. It also does not list integrated LED lighting. You should pick this if you prefer manual control and extensive side privacy. It suits large patios where you want adjustable shade and curtains without the complexity or cost of automated systems.

Aoxun 10x10 Louvered Pergola

The Aoxun 10x10 Louvered Pergola is a square, compact unit measuring 118 inches by 118 inches. It is significantly smaller than the rectangular Purple LEAF, weighing only 338 pounds. This model is designed for manual operation, lacking the automated louver features of some competitors. It prioritizes structural wind resistance and corrosion protection. You should choose this if you have a small patio and need a durable, low-maintenance shelter. It sacrifices the large coverage area and integrated lighting of the Purple LEAF for a focused, sturdy footprint that handles strong breezes well in compact outdoor spaces.

Aoxun 8x5 FT Gray Grill Pergola

The Aoxun 8x5 FT Grill Pergola is a specialized, compact shelter measuring 61.2 inches by 92.4 inches. It is much smaller than the Purple LEAF, designed specifically for grilling stations. This unit features a steel build, differing from the all-aluminum construction of the original. It provides focused ventilation and side prep space rather than broad patio coverage. You should pick this if you need a dedicated cooking area rather than a general shade structure. It lacks the large footprint, aluminum durability, and integrated lighting of the Purple LEAF, offering instead a practical, space-saving solution for small patios centered around outdoor cooking.
