It features a high-strength aluminum frame that handles wind speeds up to 72 mph and supports snow loads of 6 inches. The adjustable louvers block 99% of UV rays, while included privacy curtains and mesh netting enhance comfort. You also get a dedicated drainage system that channels rainwater away from the canopy to prevent pooling.
However, you might prefer a different size, color, or material specification. Some buyers want a smaller footprint or a steel roof for added durability. Others may prioritize a specific aesthetic like black or white finishes. This list of 6 alternatives was chosen because their published specs overlap with the original Sunvivi model. Each option offers similar louvered functionality and aluminum construction, allowing you to compare dimensions, weight, and included features to find the best fit for your patio.

Comparing top alternatives to Sunvivi
Aoxun 12x20 Louvered Pergola with Netting
The Aoxun 12x20 Louvered Pergola with Netting offers a wider frame at 140 inches compared to the Sunvivi’s 144-inch width, though it is slightly longer at 227 inches. It weighs significantly more at 574 pounds, suggesting a heavier, more rigid construction than the 90-pound Sunvivi unit. This model includes both netting and curtains, whereas the Sunvivi focuses on privacy curtains and mesh netting. You get independent manual louver control for shade adjustment. The Aoxun is best for buyers who prioritize structural mass and comprehensive privacy accessories over a lighter, easier-to-handle frame.
SAILARY 12' x 16' Louvered Pergola with Curtains
The SAILARY 12' x 16' Louvered Pergola is a smaller option, measuring 192 inches wide by 144 inches long, making it unsuitable if you strictly need 12' x 20' coverage. It stands 90 inches tall, which is taller than the Sunvivi’s 87.4-inch height. This unit features a steel roof style, differing from the Sunvivi’s aluminum frame and louvered roof combination. It includes white privacy curtains. This alternative is ideal for patios where a smaller footprint is acceptable. You trade the larger coverage area and integrated drainage system of the Sunvivi for a potentially more compact structure with a steel roof component.
Aoxun 12' x 20' Gray Aluminum Pergola
The Aoxun 12' x 20' Gray Aluminum Pergola matches the Sunvivi’s 144-inch width and 227-inch length, though it is slightly longer than the Sunvivi’s 240-inch length? No, the Sunvivi is 240 inches long, so this Aoxun is actually shorter at 227 inches. It weighs 441 pounds, far heavier than the 90-pound Sunvivi. This model lacks included curtains or netting in its attributes, focusing on the frame and roof structure. It offers manual louver adjustment and robust wind resistance. Pick this if you want a premium, heavy-duty aluminum frame and do not need the included privacy accessories or the specific 240-inch length of the Sunvivi.
ADRERIC 12x20 Louvered Pergola
The ADRERIC 12x20 Louvered Pergola matches the Sunvivi’s 144-inch width and 240-inch length exactly. It stands 91.2 inches tall, providing more headroom than the Sunvivi’s 87.4 inches. This unit includes white privacy curtains, similar to the Sunvivi’s dark gray option. It features a hardtop steel roof style, differing from the Sunvivi’s all-aluminum louvered roof. The ADRERIC is designed for patios, backyards, and decks. You gain a taller structure with a steel roof component. Choose this if you prefer a white aesthetic and a steel roof design over the Sunvivi’s aluminum frame and integrated drainage system.
FansaFurn 12'x20' Louvered Pergola with Curtains
The FansaFurn 12'x20' Louvered Pergola matches the Sunvivi’s 144-inch width and 240-inch length. It is taller at 96 inches compared to the Sunvivi’s 87.4 inches. This model includes dark gray curtains, matching the Sunvivi’s color option. It shares the same 72 mph wind rating and 6-inch snow load capacity as the Sunvivi. The FansaFurn is a robust option for large patios needing heavy weather protection. You get a taller structure with similar weather resistance. Pick this if you value extra height and manual adjustability over the specific integrated drainage features of the Sunvivi.
LAUSAINT HOME 12'x20' Louvered Pergola
The LAUSAINT HOME 12'x20' Louvered Pergola matches the Sunvivi’s 144-inch width and 240-inch length. It stands 90 inches tall, slightly taller than the Sunvivi’s 87.4 inches. This model includes both netting and curtains, offering comprehensive bug protection and privacy. It features a black color option, distinct from the Sunvivi’s dark gray. The LAUSAINT HOME is designed for patios, backyards, and decks. You get a dark aesthetic with manual louver control. Choose this if you prefer black finishes and included insect netting over the Sunvivi’s specific drainage framework and lighter frame weight.
