Sunvivi Outdoor Pergola 12'x16' Thick Aluminum Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How these alternatives compare

Aoxun Louvered Pergola 12x16 All-Aluminum

The Aoxun 12x16 All-Aluminum model shifts the roof material from iron to a full aluminum construction. This design choice reduces the overall weight significantly, listing at 441 pounds compared to the Sunvivi's 92.5 pounds, though it remains a heavy, stable structure. Both units share the 12' x 16' footprint and louvered roof style. The Aoxun includes both netting and curtains for privacy and bug protection, matching the Sunvivi's accessory package. Its independent louver control offers precise shade adjustment. You should choose this alternative if you prioritize a completely metal roof structure for enhanced rust resistance while maintaining a similar large footprint and included privacy features.

Aoxun 10x12 Louvered Pergola with Netting

This Aoxun model reduces the footprint from 12' x 16' to a more compact 10' x 12' size. It maintains the all-aluminum frame and louvered roof style found in the Sunvivi. The weight is substantial at 350 pounds, offering robust stability for smaller patios. Like the original, it includes both netting and curtains for privacy and insect protection. The key difference is the reduced square footage, which makes it easier to fit into tighter spaces. You should pick this alternative if your patio is smaller than 12' x 16' but you still want the durable aluminum build and included privacy accessories that define the Sunvivi experience.

UPHYB 12x12ft Louvered Pergola

The UPHYB pergola offers a square 12' x 12' layout instead of the rectangular 12' x 16' design of the Sunvivi. It features an aluminum frame and louvered roof, matching the core construction style. The unit weighs 293 pounds, providing a stable base. It includes curtains for privacy, similar to the Sunvivi's package. The primary trade-off is the loss of length, which reduces total coverage area. This compact square shape suits smaller patios where a rectangular footprint does not fit. You should choose this alternative if you need a smaller, square footprint with manual louver control and included privacy screens for a more intimate outdoor space.

FansaFurn 10'x12' Louvered Pergola with Curtains

The FansaFurn model features a 10' x 12' footprint, significantly smaller than the Sunvivi's 12' x 16' size. It shares the aluminum frame and louvered roof construction. The weight is listed at 92.5 pounds, identical to the Sunvivi, suggesting a lighter, perhaps less robust frame construction. It includes curtains for privacy, matching one of the Sunvivi's key features. The height is 96 inches, slightly taller than the Sunvivi's 87.4 inches. You should pick this alternative if you have a smaller patio area and want adjustable shade with included curtains, prioritizing a lower weight profile over the expansive coverage and heavier build of the 12' x 16' Sunvivi.

Solvado 10x20 Louvered Pergola

The Solvado pergola offers a wider 10-foot span and a longer 20-foot length, creating a 10' x 20' footprint. This contrasts with the Sunvivi's 12' x 16' rectangular shape. It features an aluminum frame and louvered roof. The model includes curtains for privacy, matching the Sunvivi's accessory offering. The weight is not specified, but the dimensions suggest a larger structure. This alternative provides more linear coverage, ideal for long, narrow patios. You should choose this alternative if you need greater length than the 16-foot Sunvivi offers, prioritizing a wider 10-foot span and included privacy screens for a backyard or garden setting.

Lausaint HOME 10x13 Louvered Pergola

The Lausaint HOME model features a 10' x 13' footprint, smaller than the Sunvivi's 12' x 16' size. It shares the aluminum frame and louvered roof style. The unit weighs 393 pounds, indicating a heavier, more stable construction. It includes both netting and curtains, offering superior bug protection and privacy compared to the Sunvivi's single curtain option. The color is white, differing from the Sunvivi's dark gray. You should pick this alternative if you have a smaller deck or patio and value comprehensive insect protection and privacy screens over the larger square footage of the original Sunvivi model.
