The Sunjoy 9 ft. x 9 ft. Gazebo offers a compact 9 x 9 ft. footprint with a 2-tier soft top canopy and steel frame. It includes mosquito netting and a ceiling hook for lighting. These specs make it a practical choice for small patios. However, you might need sunjoy 9 ft x 9 ft gazebo alternatives if your space requires a larger coverage area or different features. Some buyers prefer a double roof for better airflow or extra height for standing comfort.
The alternatives on this list were chosen because their specifications overlap with the original product. You will find options with larger footprints, such as 12 x 20 ft. or 10 x 10 ft., if you need more room. Several models include additional features like curtains or built-in lighting. All selected gazebos use steel frames and soft top canopies similar to the Sunjoy model. This ensures you get comparable durability and weather resistance while adjusting for size or specific functional needs. Review the specs to find the best fit for your outdoor area.
Our top pick: Sunjoy 9x9 ft Soft Top Gazebo with 2-Tier Roof.
How these gazebos differ
COBIZI 12x20 Double Roof Steel Gazebo
The COBIZI 12x20 offers a significantly larger 12 by 20 foot footprint compared to the Sunjoy 9x9. It weighs 117 pounds, which is more than double the Sunjoy’s 58 pounds. This extra mass suggests greater stability for permanent installations. Both use steel frames and soft tops with netting. The COBIZI features a double roof design, which may improve airflow and heat dissipation. You gain substantial coverage area but lose the portability of the lighter Sunjoy model. Choose this if you need space for large gatherings and do not mind a heavier structure.
LAUSAINT HOME 10x10 Double Roof Gazebo
The Lausaint HOME 10x10 provides a square layout similar to the Sunjoy but expands the area to 10 by 10 feet. It includes both netting and curtains, adding privacy options the Sunjoy lacks. The frame is steel, matching the original, but the roof style is a double roof for better ventilation. It weighs slightly more than the Sunjoy due to the added curtains. This model suits those who want extra bug protection and shade control. You trade the Sunjoy’s ceiling hook for enclosed sides. Pick this if privacy and airflow are higher priorities than hanging lights.
Aoxun 16x11 FT Beige Soft Top Gazebo
The Aoxun 16x11 is a rectangular shelter with a much larger surface area than the compact Sunjoy 9x9. It measures 16 by 11 feet, offering extended shade for dining or lounging. The frame is steel, and the soft top is beige, providing a neutral look. Unlike the Sunjoy, this model does not list netting or a ceiling hook in its key specs. It is heavier and less portable. This gazebo fits large patios where maximum coverage is essential. Select this if you need ample space for furniture and do not require insect screening or integrated lighting.
Sannwsg 10x10 FT Soft Top Gazebo
The Sannwsg 10x10 expands the footprint to a 10 by 10 square, matching the Sunjoy’s shape but with more room. It features a double roof for improved airflow and includes both netting and curtains. The steel frame matches the original, but the inclusion of curtains adds privacy not found in the Sunjoy. It is slightly larger and likely heavier. This model is ideal for patios needing bug protection and enclosed sides. You give up the Sunjoy’s ceiling hook for added shade and privacy. Choose this if you prefer a fully enclosed, ventilated space.
HAPPATIO 10' x 12' Double Roof Gazebo
The HAPPATIO 10x12 offers a rectangular 10 by 12 foot layout, providing more length than the square Sunjoy. It uses a steel frame and soft top with netting, similar to the original. The double roof design may enhance ventilation. It weighs 58.7 pounds, nearly identical to the Sunjoy’s 58 pounds. This model lacks a ceiling hook but includes netting for bug protection. The gray color offers a different aesthetic. Pick this if you need a longer shelter for narrow spaces. It balances portability with slightly larger coverage and bug screening.
Lausaint HOME 13x11 Brown Gazebo with Lights
The Lausaint HOME 13x11 is a large rectangular gazebo with built-in lighting, a feature the Sunjoy only hints at with a hook. It measures 13 by 11 feet, offering significantly more space. The steel frame supports the structure, and it includes netting for bug protection. It is heavier and less portable than the compact Sunjoy. This model is best for large lawns or patios. You trade the Sunjoy’s small footprint for ample area and integrated lights. Choose this if you host large gatherings and want convenient lighting without extra installation.
