Looking beyond the Sunjoy 8 x 8 ft. Soft Top Gazebo? You might need different dimensions or a sturdier frame for your specific patio. The original model offers a compact 8 x 8 ft. footprint with a steel frame and included mesh netting. It stands 102 inches tall and weighs 22.1 pounds. This makes it suitable for small backyards where bug protection is a priority. However, its soft top fabric may not provide the permanent durability you want. You might also find the 8 x 8 ft. size too small for larger gatherings or extra furniture.
This guide presents 6 alternatives that share key specs with the Sunjoy gazebo. We selected these options because they overlap in frame material, roof style, or included features like netting. You can compare steel frames, double roof designs, and various footprint sizes. Some models offer hardtops for higher durability, while others provide larger areas with UPF50+ fabric. Each alternative addresses specific gaps, such as the need for curtains or increased height. Review the specifications to find the right fit for your outdoor space without guessing about performance.

Like the Sunjoy, it includes netting for insect protection, but it also comes with curtains for added privacy. The height is 112 inches, which is taller than the Sunjoy’s 102 inches. This option suits buyers who want a larger, integrated insect barrier without sacrificing ventilation on a standard patio.
