Looking Beyond the Purple LEAF Hardtop Gazebo? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

Alternatives to the Purple LEAF Gazebo

Aoxun 12' x 16' Wood Gazebo

The Aoxun 12' x 16' Wood Gazebo uses a cedar frame instead of the aluminum construction found in the Purple LEAF model. This natural wood material offers a distinct aesthetic for patios and decks. It features a double roof style and a galvanized steel top, which may provide additional insulation or structural redundancy compared to the single-layer hardtop of the original. The frame is painted gray, differing from the light gray finish of the Purple LEAF. At 370 pounds, it is slightly heavier than the 363-pound original, suggesting a robust build. You should consider this option if you prefer the look and durability of treated wood over metal frames. It includes no netting or curtains in the listed specs, so you may need to source privacy accessories separately.

Purple Leaf 12x16 Hardtop Double Roof

This Purple LEAF model is a 12' x 16' hardtop with a bronze frame finish, contrasting with the light gray of the base model. It weighs 439 pounds, which is 76 pounds more than the standard version. This added weight often correlates with heavier gauge materials or reinforced joints for snow load support. The double roof style is a key structural difference, potentially offering better rain runoff and thermal insulation. However, the listed specifications do not mention included curtains or netting. If you prioritize maximum structural integrity and snow resistance in a heavy-duty shelter, this variant is a strong choice. You will need to verify if privacy screens are sold separately, as they are not explicitly listed in the included features for this specific SKU.

YOLENY 12x16 Wood-Look Hardtop Gazebo

The YOLENY 12x16 Wood-Look Hardtop Gazebo mimics the aesthetic of wood with a brown aluminum frame, differing from the light gray metal of the Purple LEAF. It includes both netting and curtains, matching the privacy package of the original. The double roof style is another shared feature, likely aiding in drainage and durability. At 356 pounds, it is slightly lighter than the 363-pound Purple LEAF. This model is designed for patios, backyards, decks, and lawns. If you want a durable, enclosed shelter with a natural wood appearance but prefer aluminum maintenance, this is a viable alternative. The weight difference is minimal, so installation effort will be similar. Check the specific warranty terms, as they may differ from the five-year roof coverage of the Purple LEAF.

Aoxun 12x20 Gray Hardtop Gazebo

The Aoxun 12x20 Gray Hardtop Gazebo offers a larger footprint than the 12' x 16' Purple LEAF model. Its dimensions are listed as 133 inches wide by 122 inches long, which appears to be a typo in the source data for a 12x20 model, but the size designation indicates more interior space. It features a double roof, galvanized steel top, and aluminum frame. Included features are netting and curtains, providing immediate privacy and bug protection. The weight is listed as 77 pounds, which is likely an error for a structure of this size, so verify the actual shipping weight. This gazebo suits buyers needing extra length for large patios. If you require more square footage than the original provides, this larger model is the appropriate choice, assuming the weight data is corrected in practice.

EROMMY 12'x16' Aluminum Double Roof Gazebo

The EROMMY 12'x16' Aluminum Double Roof Gazebo features a brown frame with a gutter detail, differing from the light gray frame of the Purple LEAF. It includes both netting and curtains, matching the privacy and insect protection of the original. The double roof style is shared, which can enhance durability and weather resistance. At 369 pounds, it is slightly heavier than the 363-pound Purple LEAF, suggesting a sturdy construction. The height is 124 inches, which is three inches taller than the original. This model is recommended for patios, backyards, and decks. If you prefer a slightly taller structure with a brown finish and integrated gutters, this is a solid alternative. The included accessories mean you do not need to purchase separate screens for immediate use.

YOLENY 12x16 Hardtop Gazebo

The YOLENY 12x16 Hardtop Gazebo comes in a wood-black color, offering a different visual style compared to the light gray Purple LEAF. It includes netting and curtains, providing the same level of privacy and bug protection as the original. The double roof style and galvanized steel top are also shared features. At 338 pounds, it is lighter than the 363-pound Purple LEAF, which might make assembly slightly easier. The width and length are identical at 144 inches by 192 inches. This model is suitable for patios, backyards, decks, and lawns. If you want a durable, enclosed patio space with a darker aesthetic and slightly lighter weight, this is a good option. Ensure the warranty coverage matches your needs, as it may vary from the five-year roof protection of the Purple LEAF.
