Key Specs Explained
Size: 11' x 13'
This dimension defines the exact footprint of the canopy cover. You need these measurements to ensure the fabric spans your existing frame correctly. If your current gazebo has different dimensions, this replacement will not fit properly. Always verify your frame's width and length before purchasing to avoid gaps or excess material that could catch the wind.
Roof Material: RipLock 350 Fabric
This is a 350 Denier polyester fabric with double RipLock technology. The double-walled gridlines are designed to stop rips from spreading, offering higher durability than standard single-layer canopies. This construction helps the fabric withstand stress from wind or heavy snow loads. It is a practical choice for owners seeking a longer-lasting replacement for their soft top gazebo.
Color: Slate Gray
The canopy features a slate gray finish, which may differ from the original factory color of your gazebo. This is a cosmetic difference that does not affect performance. If matching the original appearance is important to you, note that this replacement will introduce a new tone. The color choice is a practical trade-off for the upgraded fabric technology provided.
UPF 50+
This rating indicates the fabric blocks over 98% of harmful ultraviolet radiation. It provides significant sun protection for people and items underneath the gazebo. This feature is essential for outdoor spaces used for dining or relaxation. When shopping for gazebos, look for this rating to ensure your setup offers adequate protection against sun exposure during peak daylight hours.
Design and Build Overview
According to the listing, the canopy is constructed from RipLock 350 Fabric. This material is a 350 Denier polyester with double RipLock technology. The double-walled high tensile strength gridlines are designed to stop rips from spreading. You get a slate gray finish, which differs from the original soft top color. The fabric offers UPF 50+ protection and is water resistant. It also meets CPAI-84 fire retardant standards. These specifications suggest the material is built for durability and weather resistance in a garden setting.
The size is listed as 11' x 13'. In inches, the width is 156 inches and the length is 132 inches. This specific footprint ensures the cover fits the Fremont A101018900 model manufactured by Sunjoy. You must verify your frame matches these exact dimensions. The product is a replacement canopy only. The metal structure, netting, and privacy curtains are not included. This design means you need an existing compatible frame to install the cover. The soft top type is intended for garden use. You should check your current gazebo model number before purchasing to ensure a proper fit.
Setup And Daily Use Guide
Setting up this canopy requires your existing frame. The listing states that the metal structure, netting, and privacy curtains are not included. You must use the original Sunjoy Fremont A101018900 frame. Garden Winds guarantees fit only for this specific model number. Verify your frame matches the 11' by 13' footprint before installation. The width is 156 inches and the length is 132 inches. Precision matters here. A mismatched frame will prevent proper attachment of the slate gray RipLock 350 Fabric. Once installed, the canopy serves as a soft top for garden use. The material offers UPF 50+ protection. This rating blocks most ultraviolet rays during daily outdoor activities. The fabric is also water resistant. You can expect it to shed light rain without soaking through immediately. The CPAI-84 fire retardant certification adds a layer of safety for everyday use near grills or candles. The double RipLock technology reinforces the gridlines. These high tensile strength lines help stop small tears from spreading across the cover. This feature reduces the need for frequent repairs during regular use. Cleaning is straightforward. You can wipe down the slate gray surface to remove dust or pollen. Avoid harsh chemicals that might degrade the water-resistant coating. The canopy sits atop your gazebo structure. It does not provide structural support on its own. Ensure your frame is stable before securing the new top. This setup process is purely about replacing the worn fabric. It does not involve complex assembly of metal parts. The result is a refreshed look with durable, protective coverage for your garden space.
Who Needs This Replacement Canopy
Owning this replacement canopy means you maintain your existing Sunjoy Fremont structure. You must verify your frame matches the A101018900 model. The listing guarantees fit only for this specific manufacturer. If your gazebo differs, this product will not work. You need the original metal frame, as netting and curtains are excluded. Regular upkeep involves cleaning the slate gray RipLock 350 fabric to preserve its water-resistant properties. The double-walled gridlines help resist tears, but exposure to harsh weather may still wear the material. This option suits you if your original canopy is damaged but your frame is sound. It fits alongside other replacement parts in our guide for 1 gazebos. Check compatibility before purchasing. Ensure your current frame is stable. Confirm the dimensions match your space. This canopy is a targeted fix, not a full upgrade. It extends the life of your current setup without replacing the entire structure.
