How each alternative compares
Purple LEAF 12x16 Hardtop Gazebo
The Purple LEAF model reduces your floor space from 12x20 feet to 12x16 feet. This 48-square-foot decrease makes it better for smaller patios where the DWVO footprint is too large. It weighs 331 pounds, which is 150 pounds lighter than the DWVO. This reduced weight simplifies handling during assembly. It shares the double-vented roof style and aluminum frame construction. You get integrated lighting hooks similar to the DWVO design. Choose this if you need a sturdy shelter but lack the yard space for the larger 12x20 layout.
YOLENY 12x16 Wood-Look Hardtop Gazebo
The YOLENY wood-look model offers a 12x16 footprint, shrinking the area by 48 square feet compared to the DWVO. It weighs 356 pounds, significantly lighter than the 481-pound DWVO frame. This gazebo includes netting and curtains for full enclosure, matching the DWVO’s privacy features. It uses a galvanized steel roof and aluminum frame, similar to the DWVO’s durable build. The wood-look aesthetic provides a different visual appeal. Select this option if you prefer a compact size with a decorative finish while maintaining strong weather protection and ventilation.
Aoxun 12x14 Hardtop Gazebo
The Aoxun model features a 12x14 footprint, which is 64 square feet smaller than the DWVO. It weighs only 77.2 pounds, making it drastically lighter and easier to move than the heavy DWVO unit. It includes netting for insect protection and uses a galvanized steel roof with an aluminum frame. The double-vented roof design matches the DWVO for airflow. This model suits buyers who prioritize portability and lower weight over maximum floor space. It is ideal for smaller decks or gardens where the DWVO’s size and weight are impractical.
EROMMY 12x14ft Aluminum Hardtop Gazebo
The EROMMY model provides a 12x14 footprint, reducing space by 64 square feet compared to the DWVO. It weighs 375 pounds, which is lighter than the DWVO’s 481 pounds. This unit includes both netting and curtains for enclosure, similar to the DWVO’s double-layered sidewalls. It features a galvanized steel roof and aluminum frame for weather resistance. The brown color with gutter adds a distinct style. Choose this if you need a sturdy, enclosed shelter for a smaller patio but want to avoid the larger footprint and higher weight of the DWVO 12x20 model.
UDPATIO 12'x20' Beige Hardtop Gazebo
The UDPATIO model matches the DWVO’s 12x20 footprint, offering identical floor space for large gatherings. It weighs 400 pounds, which is 81 pounds lighter than the DWVO. This gazebo includes privacy curtains, providing similar enclosure options. It uses an aluminum frame and double-vented roof style, mirroring the DWVO’s ventilation approach. The beige color offers a neutral aesthetic.
