How these alternatives compare
Aoxun 12'x16' Hardtop Gazebo with Double Polycarbonate Roof
This Aoxun hardtop model shares the 16'x12' footprint and double polycarbonate roof style of the original. It weighs 300 pounds, which is 54 pounds heavier than the standard metal frame version. The powder-coated metal frame provides similar scratch resistance, but the hardtop construction offers a more solid feel. You get the same brown color option and privacy netting. This extra weight adds stability but requires a stronger foundation. If you prefer a heavier structure for high-wind areas and do not mind the additional assembly effort, this is a robust upgrade. It maintains the large coverage area while increasing structural mass.
Aoxun 12'x16' Cedar Wood Gazebo with Polycarbonate Roof
The cedar wood version replaces the metal frame with natural wood construction. It keeps the double polycarbonate roof and similar 12'x16' dimensions, though the width is slightly narrower at 114 inches compared to 144 inches in the original. The height is significantly taller at 143 inches, offering more vertical space. This model weighs more due to the wood, but the exact weight is not listed. It suits buyers who want a rustic aesthetic and do not mind wood maintenance. You lose the powder-coated metal durability but gain a traditional look. The netting and curtain options remain for privacy and bug protection in your outdoor space.
Breezestival 10x12 Hardtop Gazebo with Double Roof
This Breezestival model is much smaller at 10'x12', covering 120 square feet versus the original's 192. It uses an aluminum frame instead of metal, weighing only 161 pounds. This makes it significantly lighter and easier to move or assemble. It retains the double polycarbonate roof and includes both netting and curtains for privacy. The brown color matches the original aesthetic. You gain a more compact footprint suitable for smaller patios or decks. The trade-off is reduced interior space. If you need a portable, lightweight shelter with similar weather protection features, this compact option fits tighter spaces while maintaining the double roof durability.
EROMMY 10'x13' Double Roof Gazebo
The EROMMY gazebo measures 10'x13', offering a different shape with less width than the original 16'x12' model. It features an aluminum frame and weighs just 141 pounds, making it the lightest option here. The double polycarbonate roof provides similar UV protection. It includes netting and curtains for bug control and privacy. The gray roof and frame offer a neutral look. You sacrifice significant square footage for a much lighter structure that is easier to handle. This is ideal for small lawns or patios where weight and space are constraints. The aluminum frame resists rust, and the compact size fits smaller areas while still providing essential shelter and ventilation features.
YOLENY 12x16 Polycarbonate Gazebo
This YOLENY model matches the original's 12'x16' size and weighs 203 pounds, which is 43 pounds lighter than the Aoxun metal frame version. It uses an aluminum frame instead of powder-coated metal, offering rust resistance. The double polycarbonate roof and brown color are consistent with the original. It does not explicitly list included netting or curtains in the specs, but the attributes suggest similar features. The height is slightly taller at 114 inches. You gain a lighter structure that is easier to assemble while maintaining the large footprint. This is a practical alternative if you want the same coverage area with less weight and an aluminum frame for long-term durability.
Raysfung 10'x12' Steel Hardtop Gazebo
The Raysfung gazebo is smaller at 10'x12', covering 120 square feet. It uses a steel frame, which is heavier than aluminum but lighter than the original metal frame at 169 pounds. The double polycarbonate roof and included netting and curtains provide similar protection. The gray color offers a modern look. You give up the large 16'x12' coverage for a more compact footprint suitable for small patios. The steel frame adds durability and stability. This model is best for buyers who prioritize steel construction and privacy features in a smaller space.
